Day 6

Affirmation:

Today i was listening to you talk on the phone about your meeting regarding starting the prayer movement. My first instinct was to protect you by squishing it, i was afraid for you. I was afraid that you would be too burned out, too thinly stretched, too overcommitted... it was fear of failure. When i finally figured out what it was i was not afraid anymore, because if there is anything i know about you is that being afraid to fail never stops you from trying. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus said to the disciples "go and make disciples of all nations", then in Luke 9:1-5 he taught them that when faced with failure not to worry but to just "shake the dust from their feet" and move onward. God doesn't tell us to go succeed he tells us to go do. What i see in you is not someone who is afraid of the outcome, but rather someone who trusts God to take of it knowing your responsibility is just to be in relationship with God and do out of that relationship. Even when your tired, even when your burnt out you find life in serving your king. I am so so proud of who you are, and that where the rest of us shrink back sometimes as cowards that you rest in the shadow of the most high, you dare to put on his yoke and out of that you dare to dream and do.

 Prayer:

rest.health.joy.restoration.

effectiveness.courage.dreams.

rightness in relationship with God.intimacy with Jesus. 

focus and direction in your dreaming.

a soft heart.a renewed mind.release to do out of being.

Encouragement:

Isaiah 30:15 

“In returning and rest you shall be saved;
 in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.”

Matthew 11:28

 "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Inspiration:

Go confidently in the direction of the dreams your father has given you... live the life HE has made you for! Find your rest in those places!!!
