Day 8

Affirmation

So things have been ummmm chaotic lately to say the least. You've been up and i've been down, and you've been down and i've been up and we've both been upside down and sideways. Yet in spite of all the chaos you have persevered. You haven't known what is coming out of this but you have trusted that what God has for you is good. You have been steadfast in doing the things you have committed to do and you have done them well. You have held to the anchor of your faith in this storm, and above everything i think that is what i admire in you. Life is unpredictable, its chaotic, its hard and you cannot predict how you will react all the time but if you invest in your anchor than you will weather the storm no matter how crazy it gets, and on the other side your character will be more refined than ever. This is something i see in you. I want to weather life's storms with you by my side and together i want to hold to the only thing we are sure of that will get us through and i want to come out better on the other side

Prayer

A bit redundant here but health and rest.

That as we come out of the chaos that the changes we are facing will be a huge blessing.

That your character will be refined to the level of your calling.

For a firm anchor in Christ.

Encouragement

Romans 5:3-5 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

Romans 8:2 8And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

1 Peter 4:12–1 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

Inspiration:

All great changes are preceded by chaos.
