Day 14

Affirmation:
Hi my love.... so i want the best for you in life. My wishes for you are the things above and so much more... but i want to do better than all those things above, i want to look after you the best i can in my God-given ability!!!! It really means a lot to me when you look after me too as it makes me know i'm loved! Most of my life and certainly in my teen/adult years i've felt like i've always had to look after myself which is why it is so important to me that i find someone who loves me enough to take that burden and look after me as well.... one of the best moments ever was when you met my potential future boss for the first time and i sat quietly at dinner while you asked him every question under the sun to find out more about him/the job/organization etc. and when i asked you about it later you said you wanted to look after me... that made me feel loved. Mostly i love that i am independent and can look after myself, but i love when you come alongside me and you treat me like you know i can do it but you want to do it for me because you want to look after me. Those are the moments i feel like i am the luckiest girl alive... those are the moments i am reminded what a great man you are and how much i love you!!!


Prayer:
Clarity. Courage. Love. Freedom. Direction. Humility for us both. A breaking point. Joy. Peace. Laughter. Something new. an x factor. 


Encouragement:

Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

1 Corinthians 13:12

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith .

Philippians 3:7-9

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Ephesians 3:17-19
