Day 16 - *sigh* an extra post today

So i hung up the phone from you just now and i am not going to lie i was a bit ticked and hurt. You don't want to hang out unless we are doing something because you want to save money because  of gas prices. i am sure in your mind that makes sense, in my mind that makes NO sense. In my mind what you have just said to me is i find it costs too much to see you so much and i do not value you enough to pay that unless it's convenient.... just in case you were wondering that was the least romantic and probably one of the most crushing things you could say to me. I'm wanting you to pursue me and this is proof to me of you doing the opposite... I would pay any amount of money repeatedly in the world to see you, so when i hear the opposite from you it is a huge red flag that makes me want to throw in the towel again. It hurt, even though i understand what you are saying this is how it makes me feel. 


Then i started googling... and i came across an interesting article, it was entitle "Lie #5 Women are Romantic and Men are Practical" and what i discovered reading through it is that they did a survey of men and women to find out if this was true, but what they found instead is that these traits did not so much break down into men vs. women, as the the social style of the respondents, they found in the survey that the more romantic types are the relationship-oriented people and the more practical less romantic types are the task-oriented people. 


Then they had a breakdown of each category and explained how to show love to that category... it took about 2 seconds for me to figure out what category we each fall into. They are very different but i think it might be really helpful for you to figure out where i am coming from and why i feel frustrated all the time... and i think they might be helpful for me figuring out where you are coming from and how to love you better. The category i fall into is expressive, and you are an analytical... So i hope this helps and we don't kill each other. Reading this really helped me to understand you a little better and made me feel a bit less frustrated and a bit more hopeful... i hope it does the same for you.
